Sabrina Amell is a native Houstonian and a first generation Mexican American born in the USA. She learned how to be a hard and dedicated worker from her father. She also draws her inspiration for lifelong learning from her mother, who died unexpectedly at the age of 60. After graduating from one of the top private high schools in The Woodlands, TX, she received a scholarship to attend Vanderbilt University in the School of Engineering for Civil and Environmental Engineering. She later found herself drawn to business and management, completing her associate degree in general business and management at Lone Star College in 2008. Between her time at VU and Lone Star College, she started a family and opened an City Centre Insurance Agency, LLC - Sabrina Amell in 2006 with her husband. While learning the logistics of being a business owner, she came into various leadership roles such as Executive VP of a local Chamber of Commerce and president of her BNI chapter. She has led many local networking events, meetings, and businesswomen groups. In 2020, she published her first book, The Making of a Leader. She is currently studying at the University of Washington, on track to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Social Sciences in June 2025. Her role in the office includes networking and marketing for the agency, agency operations and financials as well as the main administrative support to the entire team.
In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting, collecting pens, watercolor painting, travelling, reading, and writing.
